The Yellow Throated Warbler was among one of 65 species of birds spotted in the Green Acres neighborhood this spring. Thank you to birders John Boright and Mike Flibbert for sharing their list of birds spotted between April 1 to May 31, 2022. Highlights of their list are 16 types of warblers, ruby-throated hummingbirds, scarlet tanagers, 4 types of woodpeckers including Pileated and wood ducks. We have had reports of pairs of wood ducks down stream near Massachusetts Avenue so it was good to see them on the John and Mike’s list. Download the 2022 list HERE.

This is the second year that John and Mike have shared their lists and it has grown by 10 species. Their 2021 list is HERE.
