Testing Reports

LFWA has a robust water quality testing program. With the help of over 50 trained citizen scientists, we test for fecal bacteria in the summer and salt in the winter. Water temperature and pH are also recording at the monitoring sessions. We also do year round monitoring at one site on the Little Falls Branch, taking basic readings. Since 2016, we have participated in the Nature Forward water quality test program and conducted quarterly testing for benthic macroinvertebrates.
