Fall Migration Bird Walk and Count

Norwood Park
4700 Norwood Drive
Chevy Chase, MD 20815
Meet at the upper playground by the big stump.
Quiet kids 10 and older are welcome to join the outing.

It’s the fall migration. Hundreds of thousands of birds are making their way to their winter homes. Pete Givan, local birder and enthusiast for over 50 yrs, will lead us on a walk to discover the birds of Norwood Park and who is migrating now.

BRING your own binoculars and please download the Merlin and iNaturalist apps if you have a smart phone. We will use them to identify birds and their songs.
