Sweep the Creek: Whole Watershed Clean-up - Five Locations to Chose From

Every fall, LFWA joins forces with the Westmoreland Hills Garden Club and other area groups to clean the whole watershed. We have stations on the Little Falls, Minnehaha and Willett Branches.

Come for an hour or two, come on time, come late, leave early or stay the entire time - whatever suits your schedule is perfect for us.. We have bags and gloves to share. Come prepared to get muddy! Bring grabbers if you have some to reach trash in trees and other hard to get spots.

We ask all participants to observe the CDC health and safety guidelines as as well as current local public health orders, and for anyone experiencing symptoms or caring for someone with symptoms to stay home and take care of yourself!

Pre-approved for SSL hours for MCPS. Children under 14 must be accompanied by adult supervisor.
