LFWA is partnering with the Coalition for the Capital Crescent Trail to remove invasive non-native weeds from the Capital Crescent Trail.

Meet at the corner of Brookeway Drive and the Capital Crescent Trail (CCT) in Bethesda. You can park in the 4900 block of Brookeway Drive; the park entrance is at the end of the cul de sac. Walk up the path to the CCT.

Details:

Bring gloves or clippers or use ours. Wear long sleeves, long pants and closed toe shoes and bring water to drink.

Pre-approved for MCPS SSL hours. Students under 14 years must be accompanied by responsible adult.

COVID Safety: Participants must follow the current Maryland and CDC guidelines for COVID safe events. 

Weather policy: We usually hold pulls as long as there is not pouring rain or deep snow. We will post messages on the LFWA website by 9:00 that morning if we need to cancel.
