Join the Bannockburn ES PTA to remove non-native invasive plants from the school campus. We'll be gathering on the Bannockburn Drive side of the school. Specifically, the sloped sidewalk that connects Bannockburn Drive to the back side of the school parking lot. Contact David Hecht, dwhecht@gmail.com, with questions.

Please wear long pants that cover your ankles, long sleeves, and sturdy, closed-toed shoes. Bring gloves, pruners, small folding hand saws and/or loppers if you have them. Gloves and tools are available to borrow if you don’t have your own. No power tools or machetes allowed. Please bring water to drink and come ready to learn about what we can each do to counter this NNI threat.

This event is pre-approved for MCPS SSL Hours. Persons under 14 years of age MUST be accompanied by a supervising adult.
