Weeding at Falmouth Road Habitat Restoration Project

Falmouth Road Habitat Restoration project is an multi-stage effort to replace the non-native invasives along Massachusetts Avenue in Bethesda with native landscaping. Since Spring 2022, we have removed non-native and replanted with over 1,000 native bushes, grasses, ferns and wild flowers.

Please join us to weed the new plantings and learn about using native plants in your landscape. Join us at 8:30 for the whole period or just come when you can. We are happy to have you at any time.

Bring gloves or clippers or use ours. Wear long sleeves, long pants and closed toe shoes and bring water to drink.
